Obituary

Kenneth Clifton Corns, 72, passed away February 19, 2020, surrounded by family and friends. He was born March 23, 1947 in Crum, West Virginia to William Garland and Erma Jane (Damron) Corns. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ance, Aster, and Max Corns.


Kenny is survived by his wife, Alice Kathleen Corns, his children, Katrina Riddle and husband, Jason of Allen, TX, Lee Corns and wife Melissa of Tulsa, OK, Lucas Corns and wife Megan of Waxahachie, Texas, grandchildren Jackson Riddle, Larkin Riddle, Carson Corns, Chloe Corns, Alexis Corns and Jonah Corns, sisters Myrtle Troute and Pansy Troute and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.


Kenny viewed every stranger as a friend he needed to meet. He began his 28 year career in the United States Air Force in 1966. Kenny proudly served in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, New Mexico, England, Italy, and Massachusetts before moving his family to Oklahoma where he attended Oklahoma State University. In 1976, he continued his military career in Tulsa, OK from which he retired in 1995. In addition to his service career, Kenny drove buses in many capacities. His service with Jana Jae created some of his greatest memories. Ultimately, he became the dispatcher for Pacesetter Coach lines until retirement. Kenny proudly served with the Oklahoma chapter of Jaycees and was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.


Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 23rd at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24th at 2 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Dr. Tulsa, OK.
