Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Evans
November 2, 1948 - May 18, 2025
Kenneth Wayne Evans, 76, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, surrounded by a large gathering of family who loved him dearly.

Born on November 2, 1948, in Stockton, California, Ken was the son of Elmer and Arah Evans. He married the love of his life, Emily Kay Miller, on January 10, 1969, and together they built a life rooted in faith, love, hard work, and family.

Ken and Emily made their home in Tucson, Arizona, where they raised their two children: Sheryl Leann Evans High (Donald Sr), now residing in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Scott Anthony Evans (Karen), of Portland, Oregon. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ken's family was the center of his world.

He spent his career in the construction industry, known for his skill, dedication, and tireless work ethic. He had a knack for fixing anything and was always the first to offer a helping hand for anyone needing assistance with a home project. Ken's generosity and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

He shared an especially close bond with his granddaughter Whitley High Bryan and grandson DJ High, as they were growing up in Tucson. Ken was also a proud Papa to his 5 great-grandchildren.

Ken will be remembered as a man of integrity, warmth, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the countless lives he touched along the way.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held in Broken Arrow, where friends and family will gather to honor a man who meant so much to so many.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
