Kenneth G. Flatt Jr. was born September 22, 1949 in Portales, New Mexico to Alpha Joe and Kenneth Flatt Sr. He passed from this life on January 5, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ken graduated from Dora High School in Dora, New Mexico in 1966. He attended the Pentecostal church with his family, and had a close relationship with the Lord. He then entered into the Army in 1967 and was awarded the Purple Heart. Ken was Honorably Discharged from the service in 1973.

Ken then attended Spartan School of Aeronautics and graduated with an Airframe and Power-Plant License. He then went to work for American Airlines, and retired as an Inspector after 30 years of service.

Ken enjoyed traveling on cruises with his wife to various tropical destinations, and playing dominoes with his family.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Connie Martin-Flatt; 3 step-sons, Ronald Creekpaum and wife
Renea, Russell Creekpaum, Gerry Creekpaum and wife Angie; 3 Grandchildren, Mellisa Phillips,
Drew Forsman, Carson Forsman; his siblings Kivan Flatt and wife Kathleen, Ron Flatt and wife Mary, Karmie Gedion, Connie Harris and husband Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Alpha Joe Purcell and her husband Harold.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 12-8 pm at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 1 pm at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St., Tulsa, OK 74137.
