Obituary

Kenneth Lee Fuller, 77, Inola resident, surrounded by family and close friends, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Tulsa after a short fight with Cancer. He was born September 17, 1945, to Ruby Elizabeth (Smith) Fuller and Oscar Pierce Fuller in Decatur, Alabama. Ken enlisted into the United States Army in 1964, he was a military band cornet player, and was honorably discharged in 1967. Ken married Laura (Duncan) on August 23, 1996, in Chouteau, OK. He was a Soldier of The Salvation Army Church, a Sunday School Teacher and a former Salvation Army Officer. Ken was a music lover and played several instruments including the euphonium "small tuba" in The Salvation Army Brass Band. He also taught piano to several young people in the community. He most recently worked in the finance office of an auto dealership. Ken is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruby Jean Wankee. He is survived by his beloved wife Laura Fuller of Inola, OK, two sons, Kenneth Lee Fuller, II, wife Heather of Equality, AL and Chandler Fuller, wife Hanna of Inola, OK, a daughter, Ami Brown, husband Norm of Southport, NC, two brothers, Oscar Fuller, Jr., wife Judith of Danbury, CT and Paul Fuller, wife Bernita of Buford, GA and five grandchildren, Trey Brown in Japan, Ashley Brown in New Zealand, Rain Fuller in Alabama, Kohen Lee Fuller and Kaiser Fuller in Inola. Ken's love of life will shine on in all those he loved and inspired.
