Kenneth W. Metzinger, 57, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 1977, at his residence. He was born on Thursday, April 29, 1920, in Ambia, Benton County, AR, to Lewis N. Metzinger and Minnie Alice (Huckelberry) Metzinger. Kenneth was proud to have served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Reserve Corps. He was married to Myrrhl T. (Gerlach) Metzinger, and he was a Systems Analyst for American Airlines. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Myrrhl; 2 sons, Kenneth E. Metzinger of Broken Arrow, OK, and Marvin L. Metzinger of the United States Air Force; grandson, Wade Metzinger; brother, Paul E. Metzinger and wife, Florence Louise of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Agnes Margaret (Metzinger) Dwenger and husband, Clarence John of Oxford, IN; nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Harold J. Metzinger; and sister, Edna Mae (Metzinger) Cheek and husband, Wavie Ernest. Kenneth will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
