Kenneth Wayne Proctor, 73, a long-time Tulsa, OK, resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022, from complications of cancer surgery. The second child of Gilbert Hugh Proctor and Helen (Ferry) Proctor, he was born Thursday, March 10, 1949, in Purcell, OK, and spent much of his childhood in Henryetta, OK, and Sapulpa, OK, where he was a 1967 graduate of Sapulpa High School. A home remodeling Project Estimator, Kenneth recently retired from KleinCo Construction.

Kenny's hobbies included Magoo's pool league, where he had many friends, he enjoyed playing Texas Holdem and Omaha Poker. He twice won entries to the annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, NV. He also won a convertible car playing bingo, and was an avid fan of OU sports.

Kenny was proud of his son and grandchildren, enjoyed spending time with his wife, Linda, and they had a great time traveling and taking vacations together; especially, a trip she won to Italy.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Linda; grandsons, Gannen Madewell and Gage Horn; son, Kenneth Proctor Jr., Clearwater, FL; stepson, Mike Madewell, Tulsa, OK; sisters, Deborah Teel, Sapulpa, OK, and Margaret Chambers, Highpoint, NC; and brother Rod Proctor, Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Frank Proctor, Sapulpa, OK, and Robert Proctor, Tulsa, OK.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to John 3:16 Mission, or to a charity of choice.

Kenny was a very good man, and a man of few words. He will be greatly missed!
