On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Kenneth Michael "Kenny" Wilmott, loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 69. Kenny was born on January 22nd, 1952 in Tulsa, OK to Leo and Joyce (Rice) Wilmott. He graduated from Glenpool High School and attended NEO A&M College. He served on the Tulsa Fire Department for 32 years. On March 31, 1979 he married Jan Voigt and they raised a daughter, Kenianne Wilmott Foster and son, Michael Wilmott.

Kenny had a passion for his job as a firefighter, fishing, gold and spending time at the lake with family. He was known for his kind and compassionate spirit. He knew how to care for others whether that was someone in his family or in his community.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Joyce Wilmott. He is survived by his wife, Jan; son, Michael; daughter, Kenianne (Richard) Foster; grandsons, Max, Kaleb, Colin, Troy, and Daniel; brother, Steve (Diane) Wilmott; sister-in-law, Charlene Cather; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and loving cousins. He is also survived by his longtime TFD company, Dane Scheuerman, Jerry Garrett, and Dennis White.

Visitation will be 3-5PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK.
Memorial Services will be 2PM, Monday, March 15, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist Church, in the sanctuary, 6767 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK.
