GRUNDY, Kenny Kay, 73, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born March 12, 1941 in Coffeyville, KS to Kenneth and Dorothy Bonham. Graduate of Field Kinley High School in Coffeyville, KS in 1959,
member of Drum & Bugle Corps, and graduated from Westmar College in LeMars, IA in 1963. Owner of Grundy's Sporting Goods from 1979-2000. Member of Christ United Methodist Church and volunteered in the Christ United Methodist Church Widow-Widower's Group. She was also active in grief counseling with the Widow-Widower's Group.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Lee Grundy; brother, Richard Karl Bonham. Survived by sons, Bradley Alan Grundy and wife, Karen of Tulsa, OK, and Curtis Todd Grundy and wife, Elizabeth of Cleora, OK; grandchildren, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Margaret, Joshua, and Jared; sister, Sharon Pratt of Independence, KS. The family would like to thank her long-time physician, Joe Reese, MD for his care.
Family suggests contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church Widow-Widower's Group. Viewing will be 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn. Service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
