Kerry Allen Bean was born on August 9, 2004, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Michael Bean and Christa Gross. On August 21, 2023, he left this life on Earth. In the fall of 2016, Kerry started at Town & Country School. We are very grateful for the nurturing staff and the wonderful friends he made there. He graduated from Town & Country School in May 2023, and had recently started at Tulsa Community College.

Kerry was very unique, and if he let you into his circle you were extremely special. His imagination was filled with all sorts of ideas that the rest of us didn't quite understand. You'd say to yourself "that's just Kerry." The stories he told were usually very thought out and detailed. For years, he talked about living in the wilds of Alaska. Kerry didn't have many interests, but what he liked he was obsessed with. He loved playing video games and making up his own weird concoctions of food, the HOTTER the better. Cheese, however, was so offensive to Kerry that he refused to do an assignment in English class, because it had to do with cheese. Kerry got great pleasure from harassing his dad, which we believe was his way of saying "I love you, Dad." This joke he wrote on his bedroom wall was an example of Kerry's dry sense of humor:

Kerry is survived by: his father, Michael Bean; mother, Christa Gross; siblings, Blake Gross, Hayley Lacy, William Lacy; Nana, Vicky Alexander; Poppa, Tom Alexander; uncle, Jeffery Alexander; and other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9th at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK, at 10am with a reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to Town & Country School or Suicide Awareness/Prevention.
