Kevin Matthew Christian was born on April 25th, 1984 at St John's Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma to Carla Ann Jones. Kevin was adopted by Brett Christian in 1988 after Carla and Brett were married. Kevin passed away on October 21st, 2022. Kevin is survived by his parents, Brett & Carla Christian of Oklahoma City, OK. His children, Kolby 13, Brody 10 of Broken Arrow, OK & Everley 1 of Owasso, OK. His sister Teresa Richardson, her husband Michael and nieces Abigail 7 and Claire 5 of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, William Gallaspy of Oklahoma City, OK; and his maternal grandmother, Iline Jones of Tulsa, OK. And his aunt, Sheila Jones; and his uncles, Mark Jones, Mark Christian, Todd Christian and Lance Christian; as well as many cousins.
Kevin loved playing baseball and basketball before focusing his athletic ability on football. He was an All-State Football recipient in Senior Year at Nathan Hale HS. He earned a football scholarship from Northeastern State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He played Linebacker for the Redmen Football Team for 4 years and earned All-Conference Honors both academically and athletically.
Kevin worked primarily in the insurance industry since college. He had the gift of sales and was described as a "Great Salesman & Trainer". Kevin was an advocate for Childhood Cancer Research, having presented his experiences and insight to Sky High for Kids about his son Brody's successful battle to defeat cancer. Kevin loved spending time with his children and family. Kevin loved his cars, having owned several performance collector cars. He also enjoyed working out and extracurricular activities with his co-workers such as golf, fishing and even a skydiving experience.
His greatest joy was spending time with his children Kolby, Brody & Everley.
A Memorial Service will be held for Kevin at 2pm on Thursday November 3rd, 2022 in the Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74145
