Kim Braly Monhollon was born March 27, 1958 in Casper, WY to Herbert Terrell Monhollon and Emma Jean Grunewald, and transcended from this life to the next on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
In Kim's youth he wrestled for J. J. Pearce High School in Richardson, TX and loved playing golf with his father. Kim spent a short time at Okmulgee Tech studying architecture. He became a skilled carpenter and wood craftsman making beautiful furniture. In 1980 he constructed a geodesic dome in Mannford, OK. He also studied herbal and natural medicine on his own and kept a vegetarian diet for most of his life.
Kim loved all animals especially cats and spent many hours of each day outdoors gardening and building rock structures. He had a special love for flowers. Kim enjoyed spending time with family and always looked forward to family gatherings. He loved playing games and recreational sports with family.
He also always enjoyed discussions about spiritual and philosophical matters. Throughout his adult life Kim studied spirituality, mysticism, meta physics and UFO phenomena. He meditated daily and gathered wisdom from wherever he found it. He was an independent thinker and he marched to the beat of his own drummer. He consistently proclaimed that humanity was in the process of undergoing a major shift in consciousness. He lived his life in keeping to the vision he had of what the world would become.
Kim was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Jean (Grunewald) Hackett; his brothers, Robbie Monhollon, Mark Monhollon, and Blair Monhollon; and his sister, Susan Monhollon; many cousins, nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
Kim is remembered by his family and friends for his unwavering generosity to all. Even though he had little to call his own, there was nothing that he would not give. Kim was dear to the hearts of everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed by all.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
