Obituary
L. H. Gassaway, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. L. H. was born in Monroe, Oklahoma on November 21, 1925.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Geraldine (Gerry) Phillips Gassaway; his daughter, Cindy Galpern Graham of Tulsa; his son Mark and wife Becky Gassaway of Tulsa; granddaughters Sarah Galpern Via, Erin Galpern, Claire Galpern, Allie Gassaway and Laura Gassaway; his sister, Clarece Gassaway Knecht of Tulsa; beloved nieces and nephew from the Gassaway and Phillips families.
L. H. graduated from Poteau High School with the class of 1945, and the University of Oklahoma with the class of 1949.
He worked for Sinclair Oil and Gas in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Atlantic Richfield Corporation in Dallas, Texas for 39 years in the Accounting Department.
He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, 29th and Yale in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Spring Creek Church of Christ in Plano, Texas.
The family would like to thank Aberdeen Heights staff and Seasons Hospice for their dedication and loving care of L. H.
