Lance Levell Morgan passed from this earth on January 26, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 54. Lance was born on December 11, 1971, in Tampa, Florida, to Rufus and Kathryn Morgan. He was raised in Tulsa, where he graduated from Jenks High School in 1990. During these years, Lance was fascinated by anything with an engine. He especially loved working on and
driving boats and motorcycles during countless weekends spent at Grand Lake.
After high school, Lance followed his parents back to Florida, where he spent the next three decades loving the Florida life of sun and sand. He became well known for his work with the parasailing crew in front of the Dolphin Hotel at St. Pete Beach and could often be found enjoying live music at local beach bars.
In 2023, Lance returned to his hometown of Tulsa with his daughter Kyah, where she is now raising her family. Lance was a devoted and adoring grandfather who loved his granddaughters deeply and took great joy in spending time with them.
Lance is survived by his parents, Rufus and Kathryn Morgan of St. Petersburg, Florida; his daughter, Kyah Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her mother Christine Kelly; granddaughters, Kiana and Ka'Moni; his sister, Deborah Thompson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his niece and nephew, Roman and Alexandra Thompson; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
