Laney Iweta Shannon (Cannon) passed away peacefully on August 21, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1924 at home in Wagoner Oklahoma to Emma (Potts) and James Cannon.

Laney had a fondness for politics, finance and was well known for her love of the slot machines and the Oklahoma Sooners.

She was predeceased by her husband Howard Shannon in April 1998. She is survived by her children Brenda Keathley of Tulsa Oklahoma and Van Foutch of Edmond Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 24, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
