Larry E. Bassett, 72, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 in Tulsa. He was born Mar. 5, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to Ervin Bassett and Tommie H. Frieze Bassett. He married LaHoma J. Horton Oct. 17, 1969 in Tulsa.
He worked as a Yard Grader in new home and commercial construction. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves for 8 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of The Sports Car Club of America for many years as both a driver and supporter.
Mr. Bassett was preceded in death by his parents. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Eric R. Bassett and his wife Simrit K. Bassett of Jenks; a granddaughter, Lila K. Bassett and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
