Larry Wayne Clark was born on December 19, 1951 in Denison, Texas and was the 3rd child to Zoetta Clark. He attended Dunbar elementary, Carver Middle school, and graduated from The Mighty Booker T. Washington in Class in 1970. At an early age he joined Friendship Baptist church where he later served on the usher board.
He started his career as an engineer at Southwestern Bell (AT&T) and later retired from Cox Communications in 2013. He and his wife also owned a lawn service.
Larry was a sports fanatic. He was a die-hard Cowboys and Yankee fan. He played baseball until he couldn't play anymore. He coached everybody's kids in either basketball, baseball, and soccer.
On Monday November 13, 2017 he heard God's voice saying, "My good and faithful servant-job well done."
He leaves his wife to cherish, Dynette Marie Clark. Two daughters: Carla Clark (Tulsa, OK) and Mildred Clark (Chicago, IL). Step-children: Steven Gill (Tulsa), Paris (Tulsa), and Keion (Tulsa). He also leaves behind two brothers: Danny and Michael; two sisters: Freda and Jeanetta all from Tulsa. Grandchildren: Demetrius, Michael, Imani, Anaya, India, Ashley, Kendell. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins. He also holds a special place in his heart for Aliesha and Dawn.
Proceeding in death by his mother Zoetta Clark and brother Gary Clark (Texas).
Viewing will be 12:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Friendship Church 1709 N. Madison Avenue Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106 with interment following at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery Skiatook, OK.
