Gibbons, Larry G. ?Gibby?, 63 of Tulsa passed away Thursday, October 17, 2013. He was born December 15, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to John Clarke and Mary Louise Gibbons. He was a retired fire captain for the Tulsa Fire Department. He worked for the Fire Department for 25 years, from 1975 to 2000. He enjoyed golf, Texas Hold?em Poker, woodworking and was a member of I.A.F.F. Local 176. He was a loving, caring, hardworking, phenominal human being. He was deeply loved and respected by his family and friends, and will be truly missed. Survived by son Michael Patrick Gibbons and fiance? Shikima Henderson, daughter Amie Angela Gunter and husband Sam, 4 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, mother Mary Louise Gibbons, North Richland Hills, TX, brother Randy Gibbons, sister Kathy Conklin and husband Don, North Richland Hills, TX.
