Obituary
Laura Louise Peterson, age 94, of Tulsa died on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024. She was born Dec. 17, 1929 to Dr. Alvin F. Ezzell and Nera Kathleen Casey Ezzell.
She had been active in the Knife and Fork Club, was Past President of the American Indian Arts Association and had been an active member at Boston Ave. United Methodist Church and it's Wesley Fellowship Class. She was also a past member of the Tulsa Boy's Home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Paul White and John W. Peterson; her son, John Collins; and step-son, John Ross Peterson.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Manya D. (George) Otis of Michigan; step-grandchildren, Christine Otis, George Otis, Jr, Amber Otis; step-great-grandson Calvin Otis; step-great-great-grandson, Brody Eli Otis; and dear friends Joyce Coday and Jack Price. She was also step-mother to Steve, Larry, Tom and David White.
Viewing will be 12Noon-8PM, Monday, February 12, 2024 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Graveside Service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
