Lawrence (L.D.) Donald Roseborough passed away peacefully at Brookdale Memory Care in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on September 13, 2019 and went to be with Our Lord and Savior at the age of 90 years. He was born July 26, 1929 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lawrence Gustave Roseborough and Birdie Helen Roseborough. Lawrence found Jean Jones, the love of his life, and was married on September 7, 1957.
L.D. served in the Army for 2 years during the Korean War. He attended Tulsa Business School for a year. He went to work at McDonnell Douglas followed by US Postal Office as a mail carrier where he eventually retired. He obtained the 32nd Degree from the Masonic Red Fork Lodge in Tulsa. L.D. volunteered at the Tulsa Postal Credit Union for many years serving on the Board of Directors. He loved talking to people, helping family and friends. He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things around the house and yard.
Preceding L.D. were his parents, Lawrence and Birdie; sister, Viola Ward; first wife, Patsy and daughter, Deanna.
L.D. is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jean; son, Donald (Denise) Roseborough; daughter, Karen (Tim) Hawn; grandchildren, Landon Roseborough, David Hawn, Matthew Hawn, and Emily Hawn; brother, Melvin Roseborough; nephews, Ralph Ward, Donald Jones, Jerry Jones, Rick Jones and Jason Crumbaugh; nieces, Rosalee Warren, Joyce Jarvis, Darlene Creekmore and Michelle Helgerson.
