Leanna Williams, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 16, 2018, in Tulsa, OK. She was born Monday, March 14, 1962, in Tulsa, OK to Roger Dale and Vernie Lee Williams. She spent her entire life in Tulsa where, being mentally handicapped, she attended special education classes in Tulsa Public Schools and was awarded a certificate of completion. Roger Williams who survives her and considers it a high and honored privilege (perhaps sometimes undeserved) to have been chosen by Him to care for and nurture one of His special ones. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church, Tulsa, OK. Leanna loved people, and had a sweet, kind, generous, giving spirit. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and never met a stranger. Her wonderful sense of humor was priceless, and she especially took delight in teasing her brother, Tom. Leanna loved Southern Gospel Music, and had a large collection of Gaither Homecoming tapes. She was an avid collector of dolls, including a full set of Holiday Edition Barbies. Leanna also loved animals, and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. She will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us because we were privileged to have her in our lives. Leanna is survived by her parents; brother, Tom Williams and wife, Heidi; niece, Reagan Williams; nephew, Ryan Williams; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a lifetime of friends.
