Ms. Leatrice T. Hornsby was born in Louisiana, one of six children. She departed this life on March 2, 2016. Leatrice is the first of her siblings to pass. She was preceded in death by her husband. She had two sons, the eldest son preceded her in death, and is survived by her youngest son. Through their marriages she had thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. One grandchild preceded her in death. She graduated from Saint Mary's Academy. Moreover, actively participated in the raising of her family. She was a seamstress, Union Steward and volunteered in schools. She spent her life as a devoted member of the Catholic church, a 30 year member of Holy Family and numerous other churches in her lifetime. She was a devoted follower of Mary the mother of Jesus and loved the rosary.
