FOXX, Lee Roy passed from this life on December 27, 2014 at the age of 96. Lee Roy was born on January 28, 1918 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to James and Nancy (Blevins) Foxx.
Lee Roy worked for American Airlines as an Aircraft Mechanic from 1949 to 1980 when he retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean (King) Foxx, and a great- grandson, Jake Glenn Foxx.
He is survived by a son, Roy Gene (Charlene) Foxx of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a daughter, Norma Lee (Larry) McClure of Bristow, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Walsa Mae Foxx of Berryhill, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren – Glenn, Todd, Chadd, Keith, Cyndi, and Kenny; 19 great-grandchildren – Taryn, Jack, Kellen, Garrett, Gannon, Callie, Karlee, Kymree, Kyndal, Chris, Joe, Alexis, Mykala, Michael, Britney, Abby, Cassidy, Dawson, and Lena; and 4 great-great-grandchildren – Presley, Kamryn, Brayden, Gabriel.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel at 9350 E. 51st St. Tulsa, OK 74145. Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at North Sheridan Church of Christ at 1313 N Sheridan Rd, Tulsa, OK. with Interment following at Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow.
