LeeEtta Mitchell

LeeEtta Michell was born June 18, 1948 to Henry and Ruthie Fox in Black Jack, Oklahoma. She was the 8th oldest of 12 children. She had 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Later she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1949; where she attended Tulsa Public Schools; with the Class of 1966. She was a kind hearted-person and she loved her nieces, nephews and family.

Later in life she married James Mitchell; to this union no children were born.

She worked various jobs throughout her life until her health declined.

At an early age she attended Liberty Baptist Church; and later she participated at Lansing Street Church Of God In Christ.

At the age of 69; she accepted Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Benjamin Borens, Sr of Greater Lansing Church Of God In Christ.

LeeEtta was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Ruthie Fox, four brothers and one sister.

LeeEtta leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Lutha Mae Fox -Fennell; Ruthie Ann Fox-Miller (James); Edna Ray Fox-Drew (Paul), Maria Fox-Morrow. Also, two brothers; Elmer Fox (Juanita) and Billy Joe Fox along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The Family of LeeEtta Mitchell would like to say Thank you for your act of kindness, your prayers, your phone calls or maybe you sent a card, a flower or just a smile. We would like to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16th, 2018 at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave. Tulsa, OK 74120.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17th at Greater Lansing Church of God in Christ 4909 N. MLK Jr. Blvd. Tulsa, OK 74126.
