Leeroy "Bud" Vaughan Jr., 72, of Catoosa, passed away on August 30, 2023 in Catoosa, OK.

The celebration of life will be led by Pastor Ryan Wyckoff on September 5, 2023 at Life.Church Catoosa. Services will begin at 11 am. Arrangements are being made by Moore Funeral Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to encourage all to wear red or OU to celebrate the biggest Sooner fan we know.

Leeroy "Bud" Vaughan Jr. was born in West Plains, Missouri to Leeroy Vaughan and Cleta Vaughan on October 21, 1950. He graduated from Jenks High School. He married Mary Beth Vaughan in March of 1990 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Bud had many jobs. He worked as a sheriff deputy, disc jockey, and security. He finished his career as a parts salesman at Kenworth Trucks. Bud served as a Master Mason, Akdar Shriner, Rainbow Dad for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Life.Church volunteer, and various other areas of his community. He was committed to fiercely loving and serving his church, family, and community. Bud loved classic rock, his family and friends, and the University of Oklahoma.

Leeroy "Bud" Vaughan is preceded in death by Rick Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Pamela Tate, and Tony Vaughan.

Leeroy is survived by Mary Beth Vaughan, Erin Crimmins, Kyle Crimmins, Jacob Andrews, Donna Andrews, Danya Winters, Eric Winters, Janet Vaughan, Deborah Voss, Tina Palmer, Mark Vaughn, Kim Limbaugh, Sharon Vaughn, Ashley Meeks, Brayden Meeks, David Meeks, Sarah Meeks, Lane Hassenplug, Amanda Hassenplug, Seth Hassenplug, Avery Hassenplug, Taylor Vaughan, Jennifer Banks, Anderson Meeks, Clay Hassenplug, Vivian Hassenplug, and Brooks Hassenplug, and Jace Banks.
