Obituary
Leng Yang was born on May 12, 1991 in Fresno, California. He is the son of Nhia Thao Yang and Mai Chou Vue.
Leng and his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in August of 1998. He graduated from Owasso High School, where he enjoyed being a member of the drama club and participating in multiple performances, one being Guys and Dolls. His interests and hobbies also included building computers, cooking, and cosplaying. He also took pride in being an avid gamer and was a member of OKGamers. As a talented performer who loved performing on stage, Leng discovered his passion for refereeing in professional wrestling matches in 2015 and began training to become a referee. He debuted his refereeing career in 2016 and was known to many as Ref Sol Yang.
Leng was committed to family and friendship. He worked tirelessly, but he always made time for family and friends. He always gave selflessly, but he never asked for much. As a Funcle who enjoyed spending time with his nephews and niece, he always signed his name as "The Best Uncle."
Leng passed away on March 14, 2022. He is survived by his parents, Nhia Thao Yang and Mai Chou Vue; his siblings, Qia Yang, Kalia Yang, Xoung Meng Yang, Nikki Yang, and Richard Yang; his brothers-in-law, Richard Vang and Kong Lee; his sisters-in-law, Sue Lee and Mai Vue; his nephews, Troy Vang, Jake Vang, Luke Vang, Enoch Yang, and Paxton Yang; his niece, Kate Vang; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Service will be 7AM-2PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.
Graveside Service will be 2:00P.M., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
Service Schedule:
7:00AM: Doors open
7:30AM - 8:30AM: 1st Service (English Session)
8:30AM - 11:00AM: Family Time (Speeches from Family and Friends) and Slide Show
11:00AM - 12:30PM: Lunch (provided by family for guest)
12:30PM - 1:30PM: 2nd Service (Primarily Hmong speaking session, but all is welcome)
1:30PM - 2:00PM: Open for View
2:00PM: Head to Cemetery, Graveside Service.
