LEON FURR 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Leon was born to Albert Luther Furr and Mattie Belle (Godsey) Furr on December 10, 1930 in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Leon lived in Tulsa for over 70 of his 82 years of life. He was employed by Meadow Gold Milk Company for 52 years. He was married to Mary Louise for a wonderful 62 years. Together they raised two sons, Ronnie and Terry and one daughter, Sandy, which blessed them with three amazing grandchildren and three beautiful great granddaughters of which he was very proud.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Velma (Furr) Collins; Brothers, Glenn Furr, Lynn Furr, Doyle Furr, Rubert Furr, J. R Furr; wife, Mary Furr; Youngest Son, Terry Furr.
Leon is survived by one son, Ronnie Furr and wife, Terri Furr; one daughter, Sandy (Furr) New and husband, John New. Grandchildren: Ronnie Furr II; Tania and Kevin Crawford; Stacy New, Step-grandchildren: Cristi Bullard, Angela and Zack Sinner, Jake Bullard and John Bullard. Great-Grandchildren: BayLeigh Graves; Jorja Furr; Kyndall Crawford and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 P. M., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa with interment at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
