Leona McCawley, 84, was born in Healdton, OK on February 2, 1894 to W. J. Young and Mary Kate Sanders Young. She lived in Tulsa, OK and died at Hillcrest Medical Center on December 1, 1978 from an acute cerebral vascular hemorrhage. She was a homemaker and married to Floyd Garland McCawley. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Christ. She is survived by 4 sons, Harold Arthur McCawley of Foster City, CA, Fred E. McCawley of Redwood, CA, Floyd G. McCawley and Clarence S. McCawley, both of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Altha Ford and spouse of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 1978 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, OK.
