Peterman, Sara Leona, 94, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Green Tree Assisted Living, Sand Springs, OK.

Leona was born in Snyder, OK, January 7, 1920 to John C. Haley & Sara Francis (Register) Haley. Leona or "Pete" as some knew her, was a lady way ahead of her time and thoroughly enjoyed Life. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Enid.

She graduated from college and taught school for 15 years at Harrison and Eisenhower schools in Enid. Leona retired from her love of teaching children in 1985.

Leona is survived by 3 grandchildren, Corkey Peterman, Brian Peterman, & Tammy Ralieh. She also has 3 Nephews, Calvin, Wade, & Kent Haley, 3 Nieces, Carioyn Born, Pat Irwin, Judi Haley and many other extended family members. Leona was preceded in death by her Mother & Father, son, Larry Peterman, 3 brothers, James, Calvin & Joe Haley also 1 granddaughter, Robin Peterman.

Visitation will be l0AM to 5PM Sunday, May 4,2014, Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51 Street, Tulsa, OK. A graveside service will be held 1 P.M., Monday, May 5, 2014, Memorial Park Cemetery in the Garden Chapel, Enid, OK for Family and Friends.
