Obituary

Psalm 91:2 "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."

Leona (Logan) Robinson was born on 8/29/1927 to Clay L. Logan and Birdie L. Turner Logan in Ozan, Arkansas. She was called home by her Savior and welcomed into the waiting arms of her beloved husband of 52 years on 08/12/2014 at the age of 86.

Leona was born and raised in Arkansas where she met Howard Robinson, the love of her life. They were married on April 14, 1945 in Hot Springs, Ark. They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1953 and proudly and lovingly called Tulsa home for the remaining years of both of their lives.

Leona's life was filled with a love for family, church and friends. She loved to cook, work in her flower garden, paint, crochet, and to sew but most of all she adored her "babies" (two small dogs that were her constant companions). Her closing time with family and friends was filled with kindness and grace and gentle words of healing and love. She is an inspiration to all who shared those moments with her.
"A woman's strength isn't just about how much she can handle before she breaks. It is also about how much she must handle after she is broken."

Leona joins her parents, two sisters and three brothers, her beloved husband and many dear friends in a beautiful new castle in heaven. She is survived by three daughters: Yetta Brankel, Doroto Dietze and Taresa Lea Rosencutter; seven grandchildren: Alecia, Cathe, Randy, Kevin, Heather, Marie, and Barbara; and 16 great grandchildren: Clayton, Grace, Victoria, Sarah, Stephanie, Joshua, Brielle, Danica, Jocelyn, Josh, Alex, Luke, Nathan, Isaac, Aidan, Bella, plus many nieces and nephews, and a lifelong friend that was like a sister to her, Aunt Deck.
