Leroy Max Leaverton, 94, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away 28 April 2025, a day before his 95th birthday, after a battle with dementia and cancer.

Max was a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1949. He enlisted in the United States Navy, February 1950, where he was deployed to the Korean Peninsula aboard the U.S.S Princeton (CV37) in support of the Korean War effort. After the service he became a Master Electrician with the IBEW local 584 serving for 37 years before retiring. During retirement he enjoyed golfing, camping and fishing.

He is survived by his son Daniel Leaverton, wife Jeanie, granddaughters, Jamie and Jenna. Son Robert Leaverton and wife Ava. Niece Karen Leaverton and son Derrick, Niece Lisa Hannah and husband Royce.
Graveside Service will be 12 Noon, Monday, May 5, 2025 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater, OK.
