George, Leslie E. "Les", 61, of Claremore, OK entered eternal life February 22, 2015. Les was born May 22, 1953, in Tulsa, OK, to Ralph and Mary Lou (Deatherage) George. Les graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1971, attended Central State University in Edmond, OK prior to joining the Navy, in 1973. While in the Navy he met his future bride Marlene "Lynn" Tecson and they married August 7, 1980, in Angeles City, Philippines. Upon returning home he helped his father drill oil wells and eventually purchased House of Trophies from his mother. Les sold his business and retired, in 2009. He was a past member of the Elks, Jaycees and several other local civic organizations. Les enjoyed being with his family, fishing, camping, grilling, gardening, music and attending T.U. football and basketball games with his father & daughters.
He is survived by: wife; Lynn of the home, twin daughters; Jessie and Josie George of Tulsa, OK, sisters; Beverly Pixley and husband Paul, Patti Darbyshire and husband Kevin all of Claremore, OK.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2015
Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015, both in Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK. Interment with Navy honors to follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.
