MILLER, Lorene Griggs, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. She was born March 15, 1933 in Tahlequah, OK to Earl Wesley Bledsaw and Lillie Ellen Cook of Tahlequah, OK.

Preceded in death by her parents; Patricia Anne Griggs (daughter); Clifford Griggs (husband); Earl Wesley Bledsaw (brother), Walter Bledsaw (brother), Opal Bledsaw (sister), Dovie Sanders (sister), Leonard Bledsaw (brother), Dorothy Lee (sister), Virgil Bledsaw (brother), E.G. (Pappy) Bledsaw, (brother) Lois Kimbrall(sister) and second husband Richard Miller.

Survived by: Son, Cliff Griggs of Tulsa, Daughter, Sherry Counts Harding and husband James of Tulsa, Daughter, Luella Collier and husband Eddie of Jones, OK, Daughter, Arvella Alvarez and husband Tommy of Jones, OK and Son, Jerry Griggs of Muskogee, OK., Wanda L. Smith (sister) of Claremore, OK. and Carolyn Bledsaw (sister-in-law) of Wagoner, OK and Ethylene Bledsaw of Fort Gibson, OK and one Grand-Dog, Maggie. She had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also had numerous adopted grandchildren that the took care of in her day care home where she was always called Granny or grandma. Also survived by honorary family Patty MacQuellan of Tulsa, OK and Joley Baker, Jessica Baker and Chloe Baker of Sand Springs, OK.

She retired from Day Care but never stopped loving her families. In her spare time, in her younger years she liked to crochet and loved to play dominoes. Her greatest love was Jesus and going to church. She was still talking about going home until she couldn't speak. She loved going to Hinson concerts and Freeman concerts. In one of her last conversations she was asked who her favorite singer was and she said with a twinkle, Chris Hawkins, now Chris Freeman. Her greatest accomplishments in life were teaching her kids how to pray, put the Lord first in all we do, and to listen for the sound of the trumpet.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 12 Noon, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
