Obituary

Lillian Tabitha Bonham, 80, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Monday, January 12, 1976, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK, of breast cancer. She was born on Tuesday, March 12, 1895, in Caddo, Indian Territory, OK, to Peter May Tubby and Tabitha (Bailey) Tubby. She was a retired Office Manager for Stickle Drilling Company. She is survived by her son, Dr. John Bonham of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Helen Ann Baldridge of Richmond, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jack Bonham, who was a former Deputy U. S. Marshall and Chief of Detectives with the Tulsa Police Department. She is the last surviving daughter of Peter May Tubby, the last elected Governor of the Chickasaw Nation, before statehood. She is a member of the Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Tulsa, and mother church of Boston, MA. Mrs. Miriam Kaduk will read the memorial service. Friends are contributing to the American Cancer Society.
