Lillian C. (Jaudel) Derrevere, 102, passed away April 25, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born May 2, 1917 in Irvington, New Jersey to Paul Francis and Lillie Elizabeth Kearney Jaudel. She was married to the late Richard W. "Dick" Derrevere for 63 years.
Lillian was a graduate of Montclair State University. She lived in New Jersey most of her early life, then in 1961, Dick moved the family to Tulsa to work for the FAA. She was active at Will Rogers UMC until the mid 1970s when they transferred to Houston, Texas. In 1983, they returned to Tulsa upon retiring and became active at Asbury UMC, delivering Meals on Wheels for 20 years and with United Methodist Women.
In August 2007, Lillian moved to an independent apartment at Methodist Manor until 2015 when she transferred to the Health Center. There, she was known as "Jersey Girl", "Princess Lillian", and most recently "Lillie Bird" and she always enjoyed reading and playing cards with friends.
Lillian has 3 children, William Derrevere (Harriet) of Tulsa, Paula Wiliams (Tom) of Cincinnati, OH, and Ross Derrevere (Shiela) of Broken Arrow. Her grandchildren are Sara Williams Zimmerman, Brett Derrevere (Keri), Shannon Loudenslager, Chris Derrevere, William Whittiker (Abby), and Thomas Whittiker (Meghan); great-grandchildren, Maddy Shy, Braden Loudenslager, and Owen and Evan Derrevere. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Richard.
The family will forever be appreciative of all the loving care Lillian received from the staff at Oklahoma Methodist Manor.
