Linda C. Fox passed away peacefully on July 17,2022, she was 69 years old. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years Ronald D. Fox. They met in grade school in Barberton Ohio and married in 1972. In 1973 and 1978 their two children were born, Christopher & Kelly Fox. (Arguably, the best thing that ever happened to them.) Chris was her best buddy for 5 years, going everywhere together, getting into all sorts of trouble. Their close relationship continued throughout her life.
In 1982 Linda and Ron moved across the country from Barberton Ohio to Jenks Oklahoma. Ron started work as an electrician while Linda found ways to be close to her children, working at Jenks Public Schools for a while and later in 1991 when she started working for Victory Christian School. Linda found a home and some of her best friends at Victory, she found a place where her servants heart could flourish and became a fierce prayer warrior for anyone that needed encouragement.
Linda and Kelly had a long drive to and from Victory everyday, and during those drives they became best friends, talking and laughing and solving all the problems. She always cared for both her children in big and small ways, and with countless prayers.
In the early 2000's Linda went to work for The Little Lighthouse, a non profit school for children with special needs. Again, she flourished and found a tight group of people that believe in the power of prayer and service to others. Linda was always a helper, she went out of her way to help others and was a true representation of Christ's love for people.
Linda loved her family devotedly, especially Ron. She was always the supportive partner and cheerleader to him, going everywhere together and doing what she could to take care of him, as was her nature.
In 2011 and 2014, her grand children were born, Emily & Lillian meeks. They could always be found making cookies together, swimming or riding around in the field in the golf cart. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart, she lit up every time she saw them, even in her final days, she knew who Emi and Lilly were.
Linda will be deeply missed by all that had the opportunity to know her, but she will be forever in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the special people at the Porta Caeli House. They are exceptional in caring for, not only the patient, but the family surrounding the patient. We could never express our gratitude for all they have done.
