Linda Kay Hicks passed from this life on July 13, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was born to parents Autry and Mary Elizabeth "Bachtel" Wallace on April 3, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Linda passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Known to many simply as "Grandma" Linda was a loving reliable soul who welcomed everyone with open arms.
Linda's life was centered around her family and grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and purpose. Her home was always open, a place of comfort and care, especially for the many children she lovingly took in as her own over the years.
A proud supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, Linda never missed a game and cheered for her team with unmatched passion. She also had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace while fishing, one of her favorite pastimes.
Linda is survived by her two daughters Ashley, and Elizabeth Hicks; her sisters Elizabeth DeAnn Walkingstick and Barbara Jean; her brother in law Michael Victor Rathbone. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren that she raised and being the grandma that was always there for them as well as many friends and acquaintances that will truly miss her presence.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Hicks Jr, her parents, and her brothers Wesley Robert "Bobby". Joe Edwin and Johnny Lee Wallace.
Linda's spirit will live on in the lives of those she nurtured, protected and loved so deeply. She will be missed beyond measure, but remembered every day through the values she instilled and love she gave so freely
