Linda Lou Padgett, wife, mother and sister, died peacefully at her home on July 6th in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 68.
Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years Dennis Padgett, her children Rod Padgett of Broken Arrow and Angela Anderson, of Tulsa, her brother Jerry Shelby of Dallas, TX and her brother, Jeff Shelby, of Catoosa, OK. She had three wonderful grandchildren she loved dearly � Courtney, Brandon and Ryan Padgett of Broken Arrow, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna Lucille Shelby of Tulsa.
Linda was born on May 9th 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harry and Anna Lucille Shelby. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1965. Linda married Dennis Padgett, her high school sweetheart, on May 29th, 1965. Linda began working for Admiral State Bank in high school and retired after many wonderful years with RCB Bank in Owasso, OK.
Viewing will be all day Thursday, July 9, 2015, Moore's Eastlawn Chapel. A funeral is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, Pastor Phil Womack will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda's life.
