Linda Harback Thompson, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 19, 2026. Born on September 8, 1937, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Linda was the cherished daughter of Frank and Mildred Harback. Her life was a beautiful testament to devotion, love, and service, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Linda spent her early years in Oklahoma, graduating from Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City, where she cultivated her love for learning and developed lifelong friendships. In 1957, she married Ted Thompson. They were blessed with four wonderful children: Tim, Yancy, Kelly, and Kim. She was also blessed with ten grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Linda was a homemaker, worked in the insurance industry and optical services. For over 50 years, Linda was an active member of Saint Pius Catholic Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her faith was her guiding light, and she contributed to her church community with a generous heart and a spirit of volunteerism. Her dedication to her faith was mirrored in her devotion to her family, whom she cherished above all else. Linda's creativity and love for beauty shone through her hobbies. She found immense joy in gardening, decorating, and crafting. Her home was always filled with vibrant blooms and beautifully crafted decorations. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mildred (Highland) Harback, and her sister, Carolyn Gallant, and her great granddaughter, Scarlett. She is survived by her brother, Dean Harback, her devoted children Tim and Teresa Thompson, Yancy and Jennifer Thompson, Kelly and Randy Reed, and Kim and Craig Irons. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them. Linda's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love and support during this difficult time. They invite friends and family to celebrate Linda's life and honor her memory by donating to cancer research, a cause close to her heart. Linda's life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will forever remain a source of inspiration. She was a beacon of love and strength, and her spirit will continue to guide and uplift those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those she loved and lost, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
