Linda Williams, age 73 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, went to rest with the Lord in Heaven on Monday, April 18, 2016. She was born September 17, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to Ervin and Martha Knopek.

Linda devoted her life to helping children with special needs, embracing a lengthy tenure at Union Public Schools in Tulsa as a special services paraprofessional at both Union High School and at Jarman Elementary. Upon her retirement in 2009, Linda devoted much of her time to volunteering at the Broken Arrow Senior Center, and she attended St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. Linda found great joy in visiting her three grandchildren, and she took pleasure in eating out and socializing around town with her husband.

Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gene Williams; her children, Timothy Posey and his wife, Jennifer of Springfield, Missouri; and Christopher Posey and his wife, Kristi of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Sarah, Mia, and Cole. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael.

Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel located at 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and will be laid to rest next to her son Michael at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
