Linda Sue Thomas nee Berg died unexpectedly in Oklahoma City, OK on March 19, 2020 at the age of 77.

Linda is survived by her husband, David Thomas of Bethany; children, Jeff Thomas, and wife Marcia, of Oklahoma City and Janet Short, and husband Ed, of Tulsa; siblings, Norman Berg, and wife Sue, of Tulsa, and Alan Berg, and wife Stephanie, of Hulbert.

Linda was born on October 18, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Herman and Laverne Berg. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1960. She married David Thomas, her high school sweetheart, in 1961. Between 1964 and 1967 the couple welcomed 2 children into their home. Her children remember her as a kind, compassionate, faithful, loving mother who took good care of them.

Linda was accomplished at art, and she painted many beautiful pictures. She was a creative individual who loved animals, especially her dogs Skip and Buddy, and who was passionate about her belief in God and helping others. She volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital during the Oklahoma City Bombing.

A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 1pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, with a memorial plan to follow at a future date in Oklahoma City. Rev. Danny Moss will officiate the ceremony, which will be attended only by close family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA at aspca.org.
