Lindey McDaniel - 1957-2023

Lindey McDaniel passed on at the age of 65 years old in the early morning of Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born on July 18, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Harold Eugene Stewart and Nancy Stewart (Thornburg). Lindey had a deep love for history and enjoyed collecting antiques, photos, art, and other historic items, especially those from the late 19th and early 20th century. She would often travel to historic sites and landmarks, learning all she could about the early days of America. She loved animals and was known to rescue many feline friends over the years, an adoration that was easily observed by her abundance of cat decor. Lindey was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Gary McDaniel, who passed away April 2, 2020. She is survived by her brother Jeff Stewart and her loving sister Shelly Crose; her four sons and their partners, Neal Eckert and Rebecca, Ryan Eckert and Sarah, Ross Eckert and Caroline, and Max McDaniel and Jackie; and her cherished grandchildren Jillian, Chase, Myles, Ellie, and her future grandson due in August 2023. She is dearly missed by her family and many lifelong friends. Although her passing was untimely, she will live on in our hearts always.
Graveside Services will be 10:00AM Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
