Linwood Erland Olson, 59, of Houston, TX, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 1977, in Harris County, Alief, TX. He was born on Monday, May 6, 1918, in Aroostook County, New Sweden, ME, to Nels Erin Olson and Florence (Peterson) Olson. He was married to Juanita Adeline (Williams) Olson, and was an Auditor for Harris County, TX. Linwood was proud to have served as a Sergeant in the United States Army in WWII. He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Roger Olson of the home, and Michael Olson of CA; 1 grandchild; mother, Florence Peterson of Denton, TX; sister, Lucille Axeline Hedman of Denton, TX; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Linwood will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
