Lloyd Dean Willis was born May 17,1932 in Pryor, OK. He passed on March 26, 2021 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK.

Dean was one of 10 children, 5 girls and 5 boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fulton and Margeret Willis and 8 of his siblings, Grover, Marvin, Earl, Chester, May, Ruby, Helen and Ruth.

He leaves behind his wife of 66 yrs., Charlotte. His daughter Lynnette Keck and husband Michael of Broken Arrow. 2 grandchildren: Melissa Jones and husband Chris of Broken Arrow; Kevin Keck and wife Christy of Broken Arrow. 4 great-grandchildren: Taylor Jones, Abby Jones, Brody Keck and Gavin Keck, all of Broken Arrow. And a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved with all his heart. Dean loved any opportunity he had to spend time with his family.

Dean served in the U.S. Army from March 1953 to March 1955 where he was trained as a heavy artillery specialist, and later became a Sergeant.

On May 14, 1955, he married the love of his life, Charlotte Fogleman.

Some of Dean's favorite things to do were working with his cattle and horses he raised. He also loved to sing gospel music.

In 1958 Dean and 2 of his friends, Junior Beavers and Ross Huddelston started American Roofing, while working full time at McDonald Douglas. Their hard work paid off with the company becoming one of the largest in the Tulsa area. After retiring from roofing he began to build houses, which he continued to do until just a few yrs ago. He was one of the hardest working men you would ever know.

Dean and Charlotte made their home in Broken Arrow, OK for the past 40 yrs. Their home was always full of family and friends.

Dean loved having his grandchildren close by; they were a great excuse for his afternoon trips to Braums. The great-grandchildren made him one of the happiest men around.

They kept him laughing. Oh how he loved them.

The Viewing will be on Monday, March 29th, 2021 from noon-8pm at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK 74145.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 at 11am and will be held at Arrow Heights Baptist Church, 3201 S Elm Pl, Broken Arrow, OK 74012
