Lois Marie Arter, 87, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Lois was born March 25, 1938, in Tulsa, OK, to William Glidewell and Amey Glidewell Arter (Lewis).

Lois is a retired Pastor of Holy Hills Church and Retreat. She enjoyed crafting, writing children's books, restoring and flipping homes, sewing and family gatherings.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William B. Arter (Feb. 4, 2009), grandson, Brian Thompson and nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Arnold of Broken Arrow, OK, Teresa Queen of Tulsa, OK, Cynthia Miller and husband Hank of Broken Arrow, OK, and Nichole Cottle of Longmont, CO. three sons: William C. Arter of Langley, OK, Jesse Arter of Lakewood, CO and James Arter of Broken Arrow, OK.

Lois would like in her honor for Trees to be planted in a National Forest, (That is available on website send flowers icon "Memorial Trees")
