Chappell, Lois Margaret, 88 of Broken Arrow passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born June 18, 1926 in Wichita, KS to James Walter and Edith Mae Rolf. She graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Retired as an accountant for St. Francis Hospital and won several proficiency awards. Also she worked for H & R Block. Longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tulsa, presently attends First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. Sunday School teacher all of her adult life and was a reader at the Memory Unit at Baptist Village Retirement Center. She is survived by children Virgle Lee Chappell of Mustang, OK, Ronald Dean Chappell of Indianaplois, IN, Rosemary McCabe of Broken Arrow, OK, Crista Jackson of Claremore, OK, 26 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, siblings Howard Rolf of Waco, TX, Evelyn Lewis of AZ and Doris Kimbrough of Katy, TX. Preceded in death by son James Leon Chappell, grandson Virgle Lee Chappell III, her parents, siblings Harold Rolf, Esther Clapham and Lawrence Rolf. Donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
