Lois Marie McVay, 87, of Tulsa, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born on Dec. 15, 1931 in Oilton, OK, daughter of Costello and Margaret Skaggs Means. She married Loren M. McVay in Oilton in April 1952 and he preceded her in death in June 1985.
A homemaker, she was a member of the former South Park Community Church where she did a lot of volunteer work and also volunteered at the Little Light House. She most recently attended Regency Park Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sheri Jackson and husband John of Yukon and Carol Adams and husband Jim of Tulsa; 3 grandsons, Jeff Hoke and wife Katy, Chris Hoke and Michael Ranck and wife Karly; great-granddaughter, Gracen Hoke; 2 great-grandsons, Grady and Gentry Hoke; and sister, Merideth Ausbrook.
Visitation will be on Wednesday at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa from 5 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
