Lona "Lonie" Alevia Abel, 90, was born in Cushman, AR on September 9, 1988, to Harry Spark Wren and Hepsie Cole Wren. She lived in Tulsa, OK and died in St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK on December 6, 1978. Lonie was a housewife and married to Ervin Watts Abel who died in 1970. She was a Jehovah Witness and member of Carbondale Kingdom Hall. Lonie is survived by 2 daughters, Carole Holestine and Bernice Thoele, both of Owasso, OK; 5 sons, Lester of Wagoner, OK, Clyde of Denton, TX, Clifford, Wonk, Chester ("Son"), all of Tulsa, OK; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Audria Rowland of Sikeston, MO, Gladys Latimer, Sallisaw, OK, and Bay James, Bonham, TX.

Service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 1978 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, with interment after at Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK.
