Lonnie Wicker, was born, Lonnie Raymond Wicker, III, 69, died July 17, 2015 in Oregon. His long time partner, Velma Gustafson, was by his side. Lonnie grew up in Tulsa. He lost his father as a very early age and dropped out of high school and joined the Navy to help support his mom. He excelled in the Navy, serving eight tours in Viet Nam and becoming a Navy Seal. He travelled all over the world, making friends wherever he went. Later he worked as a welder until his COPD became so bad he couldn't work anymore.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter: Kelly Wicker, Olympia, WA, and special friend, Velma Gustafson, Grant's Pass, Oregon, her-daughter, Lynn.
