Loren F. Stephenson, 90, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born July 4, 1926 to James T. and Buna Stephenson. He was the youngest of eight children, and was preceded in death by all of them. He was in the Army in World War II and then had two careers, both of which he loved. He taught high school English for eighteen years prior to entering the ministry, pastoring churches in Oklahoma, South Carolina and Indiana for thirty years.

Loren had two sons, Loren Flynne Stephenson and Paul Ray Stephenson. Paul preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, of nearly 49 years, his son Loren 'Steve' (Sandra), five grand-children, Angela Wheeler (Jacob), Chad Stephenson, Sarah Ruth Howard, Jacob Stephenson (Amanda), James Stephenson, seven great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. In addition he is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

Memorial gifts may be given to The Little Light House or John 3:16 Mission.
