Lorene (Tudy) Howard, 92, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2016 at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa. Born in Purdy, MO on August 25, 1923, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton; her parents, Wesley O. and Nellie Mutrux Reed; brothers, Truman, Otho, Adrian, and Wesley Reed, Jr.; and sisters, Sibyl and Dorothy Reed. She is survived by her sister, Barbara (George) Ammerman; Sons, Thomas (Lana) of Tulsa and John Howard of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jana, Jessica and Stephanie and seven great-grandchildren, Trey, Katie, Emma, Jordan, Brock, Taylor and Colin.

Lorene worked retail sales for Froug's Department Store, Belt's Shoes and Huey's Shoes and was a member of Sandusky Avenue Christian Church. She enjoyed Gardening, Knitting, Reading and was an excellent cook, known for her homemade pies.

The funeral service will be held at Moore's Southlawn Chapel on Friday, June 24 at 1 p.m. Burial at Floral Haven Cemetery. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233.
